Failed Bank List

The FDIC is often appointed as receiver for failed banks.

Most often a FDIC "Squad" of Regulators will appear un-anounced at closing time on a Friday ,

takeover the control of the bank and transfer the ownership

of the banks assets to another Bank,over the weekend

By Monday it is not unusual for the Bank to be open for Business,although under new ownership
